Apart from designing, I can be found skateboarding, obsessively crocheting, making mug cakes, or discovering new music (specifically of the ambient, bossa nova, house, and folk variety.)
Nice to meet you! My name is Madison Yn and I graduated from UC Davis in June 2021 with a major in design and a minor in sustainability in the built environment. My expertise lies within user experience design, visual communication, and brand identity. My approach to design prioritizes the audience throughout the design process; often involving user research and testing to develop empathy-empowered results that understand a user's needs or pain points. In my work, I take a human centered design approach to developing compelling narratives and identifying creative solutions that are anchored in user research.
As a multi-media designer with an appetite for learning, I'm continuing to nuture my skills in motion design and experiment with how motion can enhance static graphic elements into more narrative-driven pieces.
